vehicles

Banshee

Banshee Infobox.gifThe Banshee is a Covenant one person aircraft. Armed with plasma cannons and the fuel rod cannon it can wreak havoc to ground enemies and vehicles.

Chopper

Chopper Infobox.gifA one-person Brute vehicle that features two autocannons, large spiked wheels, and a short boost feature. The Chopper is heavy, but slow, and its driver is very exposed.

Elephant

Elephant Infobox.gifThe Elephant is a large, slow-moving repair vehicle found on Sandtrap. It comes equipped with a LAAG turret, similar to that of the Warthog, and can also hold additional turrets, player and flag spawn points, and even other vehicles, allowing it to act as a mobile base.

Gauss Warthog

Gauss Warthog Infobox.gifA stronger, rarer variant of the Warthog. Pretty much exactly the same in every respect except it has a gauss turret mounted rather than a machine gun turret.

Ghost

Ghost Infobox.gifA hovering Covenant one person vehicle. It can fire plasma bolts or boost into ground soldiers splattering them. Very good for transporting one person fast and quite safely. The front offers good protection from light weapons.

Hornet

Hornet Infobox.gifHuman aircraft, counter to the Banshee. Its armaments include two machine guns and two missile launchers. Reportedly slower than the Banshee it has the ability to hover and move backwards.

Hornet (Snow)

Hornet (Snow) Infobox.gifA different variant of the default Hornet. This version is more of a support vehicle than a powerhouse vehicle. The missiles have been removed and the machine guns have had a nerf. So far only known to appear on the map Avalanche in the Legendary Map Pack . It is the only known Snow Vehicle to have seen fundamental changes in gameplay together with the paint job.

Mongoose

Mongoose Infobox.gifA human ATV. It is quick and useful for transporting two people across the map quickly. Let a buddy hop on the back and he can fire his weapon to repel enemies. However, as it has no weapons of it's own, you'd better be quick enough to dodge enemy fire.

Prowler

Prowler Infobox.gifBrute equivilant of the spectre. Can hold four occupants, driver, gunner and two passengers. Has a similar aesthetic to theChopper.

Scorpion Tank

Scorpion Tank Infobox.gifThe Scorpion is back. Now however it has become a two person vehicle, like the Wraith. One player drives the tank and fires the main gun, the other fires the machine gun turret. Aside from that, since Halo 2 the Scorpion has seen a slight aesthetical change and moves faster.

Warthog

Warthog Infobox.gifThe warthog is a standard army jeep with a LAAG turret mounted on the back. It has enough room for a driver, a machine gunner, and a person to ride in the right side. The warthog has not seen many changes over the Halo games, and in Halo 3 it can be a force to be reckoned with on larger maps. A well driven Warthog with a gunner can cover a large area of ground and kill enemies quickly. The warthog is also a decent vehicle for splattering, though not the best. Overall, the warthog is a solid vehicle that if used well, can rack up many kills.

Wraith

Wraith Infobox.gifThe Wraith is the Covenant tank, armed with a plasma mortar and a plasma turret. It now allows for two passengers, one to drive and fire the mortar and the other to fire the plasma turret. Unlike its counterpart, the Scorpion Tank, the Wraith has a slight boost, and appears to hover over the ground.
